The county administrative officer or the director of public works, or their designees,
are authorized to award informal contracts following the informal bidding process
described in Section 3.36.020 and, with respect to such contracts, to issue change orders in accordance with Public
Contract Code Section 20142, as the same may be amended from time to time. The county
board of supervisors may delegate the authority to award informal contracts to a different
person when necessary.
