§ 5.04.010. Statutory authority.

The authority for the ordinance codified in Chapters 5.04—5.28 is the Constitution of the state and Division 7, Part 1, commencing with Section 16100 et seq. of the Business and Professions Code. The provisions of Chapters 5.04—5.28 shall be the minimum requirements for the protection of the public convenience, safety, health and general welfare.
